T/Fr For Friday

Hello all,

Today, Professor Emma (Yeah!!). graciously contributed her viewpoints and guided the class in a discussion about films which relate to ideas in and from Vogler. We discussed Vogler's critique of _Titantic_, _The Lion King_, and _Pulp Fiction_. We had a lot of discussion about Vogler and how the lens which Vogler has provided has created a way for us to look at the world. Emma presented on the various ways that these films and texts are metaphors for life. Liz B, Elenia, Emily C, Roxanne, and Haden all contributed unique perspectives on the retrospective chapter.

We then had a norming session concerning one of my undergrad texts. We settled on a medium grade or average evaluation for the text. (Boy did I not guide my reader)

We also spent some time working on project three.

For Friday-Read Kingston (to be emailed).

Write-work on rhetorical analysis

Do-Evaluate peer and self (due on Tuesday) providing one strength and one area for improvement on each of the four categories).

Take care,

Kat
