Hello all,

Today in class, we discussed the reminder of the semester and the various activities that will be taking place. Professor Ally discussed the Vogler reading. We discussed the connection of Hamlet to The Lion King. We also applauded ourselves for reading, reacting, and creating our knowledge of the Vogler readings throughout the semester.

We then shifted to evaluating our texts. We participated in a norming session, using on of my old drafts, to come to an agreement of what we believe the scores should be. We discussed the difference in our gut and our assessment, and we decided that we need to work on balancing those two areas to come to a true evaluation of the text.

Write-Work on 1 to 2 paragraph rhetorical analyses for project three (we will be discussing these in class on Weds).

Do-Complete a self-evaluation and a peer evaluation using our assessment tool. You will want to provide one strength and one weakness for each of the four areas. Your self and peer evaluations are due on Friday.
