M/W/F For Monday-NO TRADITIONAL CLASS ON FRIDAY

Hello all

Today in class, we spoke about establishing our focus statement and outlining/drafting our text. I gave out a "substantial" handout, which I am also attaching to this email (the tpa is the focus document and the outline is the outline). We spoke about the importance of establishing a lens for our reader, and we discussed the importance of arranging our texts in a logical yet engaging manner.

In addition, we went to the Library for more "research fun." Helene Gold really helped us to get our perspective on key word searches and databases. Please make sure that you post your i-search on google.docs and bring it to our meetings.
